Economy When US and Europe will know that they are officially fkd?

What is ADR? Advanced deranged retardation?
Automated dialogue replacement. Commonly done in post production, this sounds like someone spoke lines they sort of remembered into a cheap tape recorder. The sound effects are just a guy making squishy noises. It's fascinatingly awful.

OH I love that!

jesus...that some of you are still going on about bats and rats is a sad prospect....

you really think that the "powers that be" ride in the same airplane as you??? cmon man lol

what happens when theres not ample food? does the US produce enough food locally to feed 330million people? what happens if a day comes soon that there are no ships rolling in with imported foods?

whats the economic effect of shutting down the world markets for a couple of months?

this....it feels more and more like this is just the start to a long term something than it does that we're coming out the end of a situation

For one thing, I think the us produces enough food for 330 million people, we would just be eating a lot of corn.

beyond that, is not a day of disruption that kills supply chains, it’s consecutive months. In two weeks you’ll have a full reckoning of the effect of uncontrolled spread, two weeks after that, the effect of lockdowns and social distancing. None of this evidence is going to convince shipping companies that they should close up shop, they’ll see hoarding as huge business opportunity.

Start a garden in your back yard today. We should see resiliency of the supply chain at that point. Best case scenario there is no interruption and you continue to buy cheetos. Worst case scenario - you and your neighbors have something to eat.

theres no convincing needed if they are ordered to...or the suppliers are not sending anything because they have been shut down on that end...

IS this a serious question?

Pretty much nothing, although I do expect food prices to go up.
go take a look at the shelves in any big food store in your country and come back with a rough % of how much of it is made in the US, you ((and us to the north)) are hugely dependent on imported foods, its not that there isnt the means to produce it ourselves but we dont because thats been a long rigged part of the game....there will be food no doubt....but will it be enough if push comes to shove?

the point is we have no idea whats going to happen at this point or how long its going to be happening for, our countries ((and others)) have put themselves into a bad situation by relying so heavily on imported product, up here we have a much smaller population to feed and still if theres any kind of shortage food wise...things will get ugly very quickly...

nothing is definite at this stage....any hypothesis that insinuates some kind of definitive knowing is unreasonable....

Obviously still hoping for the best quickest safest outcome possible....but also cant be shut off to the real possibility of the horror that this can devolve further into, we're approaching a teetering point

the average American can survive months without food. The excess weight each pig carries around is utterly disgusting. Hopefully the weight they lose as they starve they notice they move around better, their backs don’t hurt and they can hopefully stay at a healthy weight once things get better. (Doubt it tho)

slobs. Nothing but slobs who eat fast food meals 5x a day until the women develop FUPA (fat upper pussy area) and the men dicky-dos (stomach sticks out further then their dick do)

Smart man, nice to see someone that actually gets it.

the US can supply itself for food assuming no supply or distribution issues.

In 2013, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) found that 57.6% of American citizens were overweight or obese. A forecast based on early long-term trends suggests that more than 85% of adults will be overweight or obese in the U.S. by 2030.[1]

Most Americans start looking for someone to blame when our coffee filters run out.

Aint no revolution coming from an obese nation.

People are too lazy to even follow the guidelines put forth to slow the spread of this virus. And they're gonna revolt? Ha ha no.

We need to stop these flus that kill thousands every year via permanent social distancing, shelter in place, and self-isolation. Safety.

I'm more worried about Martial law, and the military being put in charge than total collapse.
