I can understand hating someone you love and it’s like many posters have said, caring so much about them makes it worse when they do you wrong.

An ex that I cared for deeply, but also shared a terrible split with, reached out to me a few days ago. At first I was excited, anxious, butterflies, etc... but now I’m wondering if it’s a good idea to see her.

We were terrible to each other in the end and I’m sure that’s going to come up sooner rather than later. I think she’s still married but not sure. Not that I would care if she was.
