When should I do S&C?

    Hey all, I just started training and I'll doing BJJ 4 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). I was wondering when I should/could be doing S&C work during the week?

    What's your level of physical preparation? Have you been training for sports previously? Are you coming off a period of sedentary behavior? What's your work schedule?

    Going from doing nothing to doing bjj four times a week is going to be a shock. Do that alone for a few weeks, then decide whether you need or want to put in extra work.

    I prefer to lift on the days I don't do BJJ.

    If I need to do both the same day, then always I lift before BJJ, not after. You should be fresh for a lifting workout.
