When do I start training again?

I had the flu. Tried to train on saturday but I almost puked. Decided not to go training monday, and decided not to go to muy thai less yesterday. I feel better today, but I am not sure if I should take some more days off to be sure I am 100% fit again.

I made the right decision to not train since it was 'below the neck' (found that info on this forum), but I now want to make the right decision again to start training again.

What questions do I need to ask myself to make the right decision?
 
I personally would wait a week, with plenty of rest, water and food and then try a very light workout.
 
So since saturday was the last time I trained I should atleast wait till friday? Is my body still recovering at this point which makes training today less of an option?
 
When's the last time you had a week off altogether? If it's been a while just enjoy NOT training for a few days, a week off never hurt anyone.
 
Tbh, PowerHungry, I can't even remember the last time I had a complete week off :eek:
it probably won't hurt me
 
Caffiene and Dayquil can push me through most workouts when sick or recovering from sickness.

I can strength train and do light skill work under those conditions. Conditioning, no.

But resting and sleeping is probably good advice.
