when did Boxing gear go so high end?

Nice website tho. They have Adriana lima on their Instagram so I'm a fan. And I do like those jump rope handles......but I'll most likely never buy anything from them ever.

Wow, that Flysport looks crazy expensive. How do they stay in business?

Judging by their site and connections (Kell Brook, Amir Khan) they must have taken the business very seriously and started with a good amount of capital. Their stuff is custom made in the UK, and everything costs expensive there anyways. I know that Grant boxing gear is very high demand, and that stuff costs $500+ customs costs of importing into the country which might make the FLY UK stuff seem cheap.

high end? they look like something you find at a thrift store.

Looks way too wrinkled for my liking. And aren't almost all boxing gloves hand-made? Unless they somehow manufacture the foam by hand too...

I'd be psyched if the thrift stores carried boxing equipment.

Boxing gloves are pretty much all hand made. No, the foam is probably never hand made. I've seem Flores gloves that look a little wrinkly so I wouldn't write the gloves off just for that reason. That being said, they do look pretty terrible.

I saw the Mason gloves in person. I was surprised to find that East Coast MMA carries them here in NYC. The leather is nice, the padding didn't feel like foam though; at least not just foam.
They have an old school look to them but I can't really figure out who their target market is. I can't see anyone serious about training using their gear. Maybe, just maybe, models who cardio box to stay fit? Plenty of those in the gyms over here these days. But even they seem to like expensive but legit brands.
