What's your thought on cosplay girls?

I had an ex-girlfriend was really into cos-play. Looking back, we didn’t really have much in common.

IMO, you need to date someone that shares the same kind of lifestyle as you do and is in your “tribe” so to speak.

I’m an academic, book reading, cardigan wearing type. Dating a woman that likes cos-playing, partying and going out to comic-cons etc. It’s not going to work out.

Dating someone that fits within your lifestyle and type will probably make for the best, long lasting relationship.

Really? I think it would be amazing to date a cosplayer...but again, I like that kind of stuff. Engi Night is one woman that is gorgeous as well

My thoughts generally involve wood.

But then I think, I love video games but haven't ever thought about dressing up as any of them.

I guess it's about attention.

Then I remembered that I was putting together a Darth Vader costume to wear to the next comic con, before the pandemic hit..

So I ask myself why?

I guess it's attention. It's not all that, maybe, I first did it cos I was giving my kids light sabers for their birthday, my son's real hot on kylo ren. They thought it was real cool and I enjoyed that I guess.

I can't really reconcile that with women wanting to give dudes boners.

We had very little in common.

Sex is like 10-15 minutes. But, afterwards, you have to have breakfast together, spend time with each other, meet her friends/family ...

Sexual attraction is important, but it is not the be all and end all in a long term relationship.

Establishing their name on their journey to the road to riches via showing off their sexy curves?

In Japan, I think many young girls spend their money and time to try to sing and dance on the street to become "idols". Then some end up washing out and doing hardcore porno.

Some are legit about the fandom, while others are glorified attention whores.

Not that I'm judging either of them

sexual attention and guys who throw money at them in the hopes that they'll score.

I like the cosplay thing.
It's fun, it's sexy, it plays into a lot of deep rooted hidden in plain sight desire stuff much like the masquerade of the past.
I wouldn't judge a woman for being into it and I'd certainly date one. But there is a time and a place and in the long term it's not a full time sustainable hobby. Once you're in your 30's and looking to start a family it doesn't really correlate.
But in your early to mid twenties? Damn, id love to find a girl dressed up as Tifa and stick my Buster Sword up her butt

I always appreciate when women dress up/fix themselves up in order to be sexier.

I really don't care why they do it.

Women want attention. I’ll give it to them if they give me something in return.
