Name some examples also. Seeing someone believe in themselves when everyone thinks they have no chance is inspirational. But personally I like seeing a guy weather an early storm and look like their out of it, only to resurge later in the fight. Really talks about the mentality it takes to be a fighter when most people would quit and break.

I went to the state championships my senior year for wrestling and stole a match I was getting killed in 10-4, by a kid ranked #9 in the state and I was ranked 17th at the time, until the last 25 seconds when I hit a gator roll and got the pin and I still think about it to this day.

share some fights or some stories you have of either of the 2.

personal fave Comeback: Lawler Ko Manhoef, Chris Leben Ko Martins, Mir sub Nog.

My favorite fights: I dont have a preference between the two, its based on who I like and their fighting style. I loathe lay n prayers and wall n stallers, so when they lose or get KOed or subbed I love it. I also like fights that end with unusual techniques.

Lawler vs Hendricks 2 - So happy Johnny lost
Lawler vs Mcdonald - fuckin war, and Rory going out on his shield.
Scott Smith vs Pete Sell - Scott probably suffered a broken rib, koes sell as he rushes in to finish.
TJ vs Barao both fights - TJ looked like a wizard with his hands in both of those.
Joanna J vs Carla - I was annoyed how Carla won, I generally dont like full wrestlers who bad stand up. It was gratifying watching JJ beat her ass.
Claudia G vs Jessica A- Claudia has great stand up, and beat Jessicas ass for two rounds. Jessica came back and won the third. Was a good stand up match.
Chucks dismantling of Tito
Conor beating Mendes, as much as people hate him, I love watching him fight. The train has to end at some point, but its a fun ride right now.
EDIT: Frankie when he knocked out Maynard in their third fight.

Probably my most favorite fights are the ones with the mid to high tier fighters, who throw out that last war. Really wish I had some fresh examples, a lot of them are lesser know fighters who go out there to war.

Leben vs yoshihiro was a damn good fight.
Kapman vs Alves was a fun fight.
wish I had more I know there's a lot more, but I cant remember them.

Forgot about Kampmann, dude has had some awesome comebacks against Ellenberger and Alves. Dude is a straight juggernaut.

i think its cool when one person overwhelms the other and i didnt expect so

Mcmann (-240) v. Nunes

I'm a connoisseur.

Nothing will ever compare to Coleman beating Shogun. Many a sherdoggers head exploded that day.

huh? that fluke made heads explode?

nothing will ever compare to it?

huh?

whatchoo talkin bout?

Duffee vs Russow

this has to be the best comeback in ufc history
all odds against russow and he pulls it off
i freaked out
honorable mention:kongo vs barry

and ot i like comebacks more than upsets
upsets have a higher ratio of boring fights most likely

There are a lot of good, unexpected fights, and surprising endings.

But my number 1 is TJ vs Barao 1.
