Whats your favorite Irvine Welsh book and why?

    I have to go with a top four best cause cannot really pick just one

    Porno, Glue, Filth and of course Trainspotting.

    Porno was actually the first I. Welsh book I read. A very good friend of mine gave it to me as a present for my 18th BDay and it blew my mind.
    The guy is so good at describing the 90's and generally the spirit of the modern urban culture...just had to read everything after that :)

    Have not read Scagboys yet (its a prequel to Trainspotting for those who dont know). Hope its not as bad of a prequel as Prometheus was to the Alien sequence though (a little jab at modern cinematography here... never hurts :)

    LOL, I agree 100%.

    A Game of Thrones was amazing, A Clash of kings was even better but A Storm of Swords just blew my fucking mind. Best book I've read in the last decade.

    I finally picked up Trainspotting (on/off heroin addict myself). Cool to read the actual story. His fuckin lack of quotion marks is crazy though.
