I ove wings but they can be very messy so depending on the setting, I replace with jalapeño poppers. Especially the shrimp and cheese stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon, not the breaded deep fried kind.

Pork belly bites

I remember being in San Diego and we asked the waitress for some hot chips. She came back with potato chips which she had somehow managed to warm up, we were actually after "fries" as it turned out. We didn't say anything she clearly went to some trouble to do this (and she was smoking hot too)
