According to UFC, 2 div champ is a champ who take part in superfight with another champ, lower/higher category and wins it.

To me 2 div champ should be someone who wins another title and is also able to fight on frequent basis and defend each title at least once.

For example if DC defended light heavy title in January against Oezdemir and won heavy belt in July he still should in my eyes defend each belt this year. If he do that, I can call him a 2 div champ. And I think its fair to say that because champs defends their title roughly twice a year, rarely often.

    What you guys think?

Technically DC is the 2 division champ but he got one belt because Jones keeps screwing up outside the cage. Conor is the true 2 division champ. His championship fight wins are some of the most spectacular ever.

You have the chain of command all wrong matey -- the dictionary isn't your boss; you're the dictionary's boss. Words don't exist to be defined; they're just communication tools. Use whatever word is most appropriate to communicate the point you wanna make at the time.

A thead of nonsense will ensue here as a result of yours and others' misunderstanding of this.

Yeah it's a tough one with fighters like Conor and GSP. They both took too long off either in between winning the belt (GSP) or never defended the lighter weight one before winning the higher weight (Conor) Hendo on the other hand defended both belts, albeit unsuccessfully so doesn't qualify under the Matt Hughes adage of "successfully defending a belt to be considered a true champion" Out of all the MMA fighters to win belts in 2 weight classes Hendo is the only one I consider a true double champion but once DC defends the Heavyweight belt he'll be the second. If DC wins I would put him above Hendo as that would be a successful defense of both titles.
