Gi and belt. Simple.

I was doing this until bluebelt but so many people are always asking around for tape and things like that and I like to be helpful. So I got a cool MMA bag.

Gi, gloves, wraps, tape, headgear, mouthpiece, nail clipper, antibacterial cream, bandaids, hand towel.

I still go to BJJ old-school mountain warrior style with just the belt and gi over the shoulder half the time though, in a rush.

I guess it kinda helps that I'm an instructor, all the rest of the crap I just have in the office. :icon_chee

I'd love to have someplace to store stuff so I don't have to lug it around. I'm always in a rush forgetting stuff. Fortunately I'm yet to forget my gi, but I'm sure it will happen some day :)

I carry my sh*t in a regular school backpack. Folding my gi and stuffing it in; is a pain. Besides that, is it worth it to get a big sports bag? What are the benefits of those expensive workout bags?

The benefits are that they are big and all your shit fits inside them
