Whats worse. Bisping vs Rockhold II or Faber vs Cruz III?

Hmm Bendo had good wrestling but I get your point. I'll give this some thought.

Bendo has decent wrestling, but it wasn't his first/primary art. Striking was his serious base. And RDA did beat some guys who were from a wrestling base, most recently Jason High in 2014, so I'm not claiming some gold standard formula here, just saying don't be too quick to write Eddie off.

Luke closed as a -550 favorite for their first fight, which is where Cruz is right now on some sites. Luke should be a much bigger favorite on fight night. Faber/Cruz is the more competitive fight, which is saying a lot, since it shouldn't be a competitive fight.

I am glad to see him getting the shot, he has done a load for the sport.

Also who doesn't want to see Cruz vs anyone, just pay to watch one of the best.

Faber/Cruz III needs to happen. I'm all for it and the other... So! o_O

IDK, in my mind Faber is still competitive in some way while Bisping is like a guy picked from the street and thrown in the cage with the champion.
Both Cruz and Rockhold are heavy favourites, but the first in a much more competitive fight.

Keep counting the count out

It's so much like the ending of the first weidman fight.

Actually rockhold can beat bisping without a camp. The gap in their skills is huge
That's preposterous, Bispings cardio is phenomenal and with that and his experience he has a slim chance to point fight and win this one, that chance goes from slim to good. Fortunately for the Rockhold fans, he has been in camp and will most likely win this one in impressive fashion.

Yeah a guy off the street that has just won against Dollaway, Leites and old man Spider... that's hardly a guy off the street.

Faber earned his shot and didn't look helpless against Cruz. The answer is obvious.

Robbery.

Lettuce who? Who cares?

'old man...' You said it yourself.

Alvarez v RDA is super competitive, so I'm not sure what you're in about there. I'm edging toward Eddie actually.

Odds are certainly stacked against Bisping, but they were against Anderson in his last fight too and turns out he surprised a few people. And I don't know how anyone can possibly say that he isn't the most deserving of all the available options.

Both seem like terrible one-sided matchups. Honorable mention has to be Eddie Alvarez vs RDA.

why do you consider Faber/Cruz a one sided matchup when they each have a win over the other?

Dolloway is the last name i'd have chosen to use in order to make Bisping's resume looks cooler, Leites is the close second and even that if i recall correctly it was a close fight.
Speaking about how Anderson is doing now, well, i'd prefer to not do it.

But that said 'picked from the street' was a way to say that Bisping isn't in the same category as Rockhold, Weidman, Machida etc and that basically his long career inside the octagon is the only merit we could concede him.
Don't play dumb, it wasn't hard to understand.

Bisping/Rockhold is a much worse fight, but considering it's a short notice replacement, it's whatever. Faber has a win over Dom and their second fight was competitive, but he hasn't done anything to "earn" a title shot other than have a big name. Still, it could be a good fight.

Bisping vs Rockhold...Bisping has no chance to win for me. at least we know Cruz vs Faber is going to a split decision before its already began, so we know there is a chance Faber can win, even though Cruz always gets the split decisions.

It are both terrible match ups, unless the cards are shuffled that much different post usada....

Bisping because middle weight actually matters.
Little belts doesnt matter who fights.

Cardio won't help when the gap in skills is as huge as this one. Rockhold can end the fight in a snap. None of bispings attack will work on him. Bisping doesn't even have a puncher's chance.
