Several people confirming on sherdog UFC 226 has little to no attention in Vegas. I've been 2 days ago in Vegas and noticed that as well.

DC vs. Stipe is a superfight but for people familiar with mma. Casuals don't care so much. I doubt it will be a great PPV. More a disappointment like the last one with Colby

As much as I hate to say it, but UFC need some real superfight with fighters like Jon, Conor, GSP, Brock or even Honda.

Pay those dudes what they want or pay usada to get them into a fight card. This organisation needs it.

I don't mean the sport itself - other orgs will take over the fighters and we still will watch good fights... Buuut

But I really grew up with ufc as a mma fan. Sure I begun with PRIDE but UFC is what got me tied to the sport on a daily basis. As for now I cannot imagine a world without UFC. Seriously

Dana and WME now:

Well I guess another thing is there's no bad blood. It's two classy fighters being matched up with each other. At the very least it's hard to want either to lose.

And yeah I'm concerned with UFC going further, and yeah the Holloway fight getting cancelled sucks monkey balls

I live in Vegas. It's pretty much the normal amount of excitement for any huge fight that doesn't involve Conor. I know lots of people making plans to go out and watch the fights that normally wouldn't watch the average PPV. Conor brings a different atmosphere, some more casuals plus the international crowd that is conspicuously drunk and obnoxious, which adds to the atmosphere. But I wouldn't say it's shockingly quiet around here other than the absence of that

Lucky you. I'd be at every card if I lived there

I go to most of them, but couldn't weasel my way into this one sadly. Pumped for these fights even tho the loss of the co-main hurt. At this point I'm just thankful DC didn't have to pull out after his big tumble after the press conference

There's a thread right now with a guy giving away a ticket. His friend backed out

Cant wait! Fireworks all over the card
