Places where I've had extended stays and wouldn't really want to live there more permanently:

Guadalajara, Mexico. Crowded, disorganized, dirty.

With all apologies to jmac: Sarnia, Ontario, Canada.

Short period of time, thankfully.

but at the subject at hand. I'm not particular fond of my South Texas region, but I guess I'm just used to it.

You torch ONE city and you're labelled for life...

Hong Kong was both the best & worst city I've lived in depending on the time i was there.

It's an exciting place to live when youre single but to raise a family it's complete hell.

Saint John New Brunswick was pretty bad when I lived there back in 2002.

Ive lived in Oakland, Ca and Stockton, Ca but the worst place Ive lived in is a little town called Antioch, Ca
Everybody there is a meth head/dope dealer/gang banger
Its a shithole

HK sure is a great place to visit, though.

It's a playground for singles.

Oof. There's nothing nice about Sarnia except that there is a large highway that allows you to leave Sarnia quickly.

I haven't lived in too many different cities. I guess if I had to pick the worst, it would be Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Notwithstanding the fact that the city name resembles the sound you make when you vomit, it is pretty much devoid of life outside of the agricultural community.

To quote therealdope, a short period of time, thankfully.

Detroit. Just a depressing place to live. Fortunately both were short stays, less than 6 months, but it still sucked. Crappy weather, crappy people, crappy drivers, crappy traffic, crappy city.

This is why I avoid the east bay.

Winter Park, Florida

Right outside Orlando. I went to college there and it's full of white trash and hoods.
