Media What's the truth behind firing Mike Goldberg??🎙️😁

He was so coked out of his mind that even Conor would be like "Whoa, dude, slow down"

Looking at TJ recently on TUF as a guest coach he is clearly been on gear and for a while. His facial structure has changed almost as much as Barry Bonds.

Still better then a slow and brain dead Joe Rogan. That guy got so stuck on repeat that they could have used a cassete player recording for him instead. It would be better for all uf us. They can still pay him the millions for it.

Goldy was the lifeblood of the UFC. That theme music, Goldy's classic "And. Here. We. Go !!!!!" perfectly formulated for a night of gladiator warfare. Rogan had some grappling insight but way too tiny and whiny and Goldy's hyper- manliness helped balance that out.

UFC died that day.

A lot of fans loved him. Him and Rogan had a great rapport and a vibe of 2 dudes just watching fights that appealed to the casual fans and was fun for watch parties...

But he came off as a buffoon with some of the shit he said, and always gave off the impression that he didn't really know what he was talking about

The new corporate team wanted to improve UFC's image so they could market as a legit and perhaps more high-brow sport.

It's easy to see why they did it, but yeah they did Goldberg dirty. He deserved to be kept on.

Because Dana couldn't stand him and he made things worse when he ripped off his shirt and ran screaming backstage after a UFC event and Dana was like who the f was that?

This shit happens all the time in bands. Everything is going too well and a consensus develops to get rid of someone for really weak reasons, and the chemistry is never the same again.

The hindsight irony of the UFC being interested in "professionalism" is pretty hilarious these days. Rogan and DC come off like two guys many beers and buds deep at a barbecue while they're both looking at their phones.
