I recall hearing about Pornsanae Sitmonchai going to be a trainer there, then I just heard RDA mention he was supposed to be in Singapore. Lo and behold, he's an instructor there too. WTF is this place? Ben Askren and Tyrone Woodley are there too?

they have gyms in asia and are bringing up new mma fighters there were the sport is growing. check out some ONE Championship events they are highly entertaining. lot of brutal finishes.

Askren: One of MMA's best wrestlers

Aoki: One of MMA's best submission specialists

Dos Anjos: One of MMA's best mixed martial artists

and numerous world class Thai fighters.

Sounds like an amazing place to train tbh.

and testimonials by Matt Hume, Renzo, Rich Franklin, Henry Cejudo, and Benavidez?

this kind of smells of billionaire playboy funding this for fun or something, like the Abu Dhabi BJJ tournaments. like, why the f else would someone pay these guys to fly all the way to Singapore?

oh I see where you are going with this. never mind who owns the ufc. MMA is all about UFC.

Evolve MMA has been a big deal for the last few years, this isn't a "new" thing.

Yeah Evolve's essentially a corporate gym that uses these big fighters' name to lend credence to the brand and it's more or less a passion project by a millionaire businessman. The average Singaporean probably couldn't afford the fees there; it's really more catered to expats, those earning high wages and their kids. It's like those white collar boxing gyms in Manhattan that specifically cater to guys working in Wall Street. They'll keep a small stable of highly ranked pros that do their training camp there in order to maintain their authenticity.

Some of the bigger names (Aoki, Askren, Saffiedine, Hendo and Dos Anjos) only fly in for part of their training camp and/or to teach the occasional seminar. Although to be fair, they do have Heath Sims, Gilbert Burns' brother and a bunch of Lumpini champs teaching full time.

Sounds like they have a lot of talent.
