The first one that comes to mind is Fast and Furious 7.

The Green Mile always hits me in the feels.

A Quiet Place. Spent the whole movie hoping the bratty deaf kid would get eviscerated. I cried at the end.

Old Yeller
Green Mile
American Sniper

More to follow....

The Mist.

Yeah, that ending suuuucked.

Where the Red Fern Grows ; holy shit that was brutal as a 5th grader.

For those who haven't seen it the movie is basically about a young country boy who works his ass off for years to buy a couple of hunting dogs. Since I'm posting it in this thread you can kind of guess what happens with those dogs at the end...heart wrenching to say the least.

Hilarious ending.

Those monsters nowhere in sight:

Thomas Jane -

'Hmmm, shall I wait this out and see how it plays and protect my son with my own life?.......'

'.....'

'Nah, I'll blow his fucking brains out'

KABLAM!

Oops, the military got there first.

'OH WELL'
Bunch of people in the back of the Army truck was the same people from the market

Irony is heavy in that film

You're focusing on the wrong part:

As awful as the boy being ripped apart by monsters would be, I'd rather die trying to prevent that than

BLOWING MY OWN SONS BRAINS OUT.

I can see what it was trying to do with that ending, but it missed the mark massively and made no sense.

Full retard ending, imo.

I understand but his father kept on making wrong decision after wrong decision

At that point it was kinda expected

It was a great, surprising, and intelligent ending.
