I see a lot of hate for it. Obviously women don't have the same physical gifts men have, but that is null and void when it's two women in there. What is the real reason a lot of you find it boring?

I'm not standing up for it, I'm genuinely curious. I fight and I learned a lot from watching fighters like Rose, Joanna, Holly Holm, Amanda etc... They are masters and technicians. What's the issue?

Looking for real discussion, if you want to hate and be a child/troll fuck off.

Inb4 the first poster that thinks they are funny with some bullshit.

You lose credibility when you have fighters like Cindy Dandois. Generally WMMA feels like men's MMA in the early 2000s in terms of overall skills and talent pool

-Very little athletism in comparsion to MMA
    -Super shallow divisions
-Most fights are super sloppy and shitty
-One or two good fighters per division who crush cans constantly
-Takes roster space away from much better male fighters who should be in the UFC and would make for more entertaining fights on average

The female divisions are too shallow. there's a 10-9 and a 7-6 female fighting tonight

That argument really only works in women's flyweight, now. I don't even count women's featherweight.

Women's straw weight is a legitimate division, whether you acknowledge it or not.

Most female fighters are borderline average to bad. They are disciplined, determined, tough, earnest, and have plenty of desire. I still can't watch because they are for the most part slow, mechanical, and not creative. Robots. Women seem to obey instructions to the letter and forget there is room for improvisation. I wish them luck but I don't want to watch.

Yeah you can learn a lot, which i like, but most mma fans dont train. So it doesnt really matter to them.

I think depth is the main issue. It’s not just shallow it’s extremely top heavy in talent and falls off a cliff. Also women’s mma never really proved it’s popularity outside of a couple huge superstars in ronda and Gina but It’s been continuously added to ufc cards when an entire wmma organization wouldn’t hold its own weight as far as profitability. but this is all just assumptions based off my opinions and what I’ve seen so far

Wmma isn’t the best but to be honest the women could be knocking each other in exciting matches and dudes would still cry and complain about them......some men just like crying about anything involving women

Just was questioning why a 7-6 fighter is backing the co-main event?

The same reason other sports are less interesting when it's women competing compared to men: women aren't physically on the same level and in most cases aren't as good.

The WNBA is a prime example; the only reason it even gets aired is because it's tacked on to the NBA's television deal.
