This is embarrassing Siver has no business facing Connor.

Shiit they could have atleast put Connor in with Lamas.

This main event is a joke might aswell just give Connor a freebie win.

The real main even is Cowboy v Bendo.

This is a Manuwa/Gus, Couture/Van Arsdale kind of fight. A virtual free pass for a title shot.

Yea I agree Lamas beats Connor but that would be a FN worthy main event.

Honestly this is just an embarrassment of a main event.

I agree with the other posters, it's a free pass fight. Hoping for Siver to pull off an upset though!

UFC wants CM to get the title shot, and Siver is the best non wrestler in the division not named Aldo.

it's a fun style match up, it's a good test of mcgregor's drawing power without a significant threat over a hype derailment and winning over some partying boston-folk that consider themselves irish is good for business

cerrone v henderson is a much better fight and more deserving of a main event, but it is what it is. they're hoping for an irish crowd and to set up a big money title fight...

jose aldo got his ufc title in a fight with a guy that had 8 losses
jony hendricks got his ufc title in a fight with a guy with 9 losses
werdum got his title* fighting a guy with 8 losses

sometimes a fight is just a fight, either enjoy it or you don't.... are you really suggesting they're giving him an easy life by fast tracking him to jose aldo, undeniably the most dangerous man in the divison? c'mon..

he's been in the ufc for a little over a year and by tomorrow will have fought 5 guys that have a total of more than 30 wins in the ufc, 3 of which are ranked fighters by the ufc ... he's being built up for sure but he's hardly having his record padded with bum-fights

siver has been in the ufc longer than mcgregor has been a pro fighter... yes his time is coming to an end sooner rather than later but you don't stick around that long in the ufc if you suck
