Inspired by this thread.

I'm going to say the Middleweight division.

How about you guys?

Great thread @Takes Two To Tango

Currently, MW for me.

Khamzat, DDP, Strickland, Izzy, Costa and Rob are all very entertaining to me inside and outside the cage. Borralho seems fun too, but not as familiar with his outside the cage persona. Oh and Shara Bullet is very entertaining too.

I like Cannonier too though and Vettori can also be very funny. *insert shorts backwards pic*

Thank you for those kind words.

BW has been the best division for the last 5 years. Yan, O'Malley, Chito, Aldo, Sandhagen, Yadong, Figuereido and Yanez consistently put on good fights. Only Aljo and Merab have been stinking it up.

LW is kinda stale but those old boys sure put on some fun fights. For pure entertainment LW is probably the best.

To me this isn't just a question of, 'what names are in the divisions at this time' or 'who do I know that's exciting and what division has the most of them' or anything like that.

From a standpoint of "if I turn on a random fight, regardless of where it is on the card, even if I don't know anyone, what division most likely means I might see something real exciting?" I think FW is very solid for that

This.

The theoretically "most entertaining weight" is somewhere between BW and LW. Guys around 150 to 180 lbs (average sized dudes) in the cage which is the sweet spot for speed + power + skill. Over the years those 3 divisions have delivered, with LW having the "most exciting fighters" until recently. But the top LWs are now old as shit with Tsarukyan the only top 10 guy under 30.

MW (Improved substantially in the last year or 2, plenty of killers just outside the top 15)
LW (Consistently more entertaining fights)
BW (More depth in general)

155 means ~175 before cutting weight, walking around at ~185, which is the average male weight if you aren't fat.
Most competition -> best fights
Also big enough for knockouts, but small enough for a high output and skill

I would prefer LHW with the skill of bantamweights ^^

Bantam or Middleweight, litterally anyone in the entire top 5 either has been the champ or legitimately has the skills to take the belt without it being a surprising upset.

Welterweight is extremely competitive and talent rich, yet the division is back jammed due to rank squatting and pullouts...

The FLW, FW, and LW divisions have dominant champs that I don’t expect to lose anytime soon, champs are getting close to cleaning out the division.

HW and LHW are extremely top heavy and diluted with DWCS or mid-level talent, unfortunately the UFC has been supporting an agenda to keep the proper title fights from ever happening.
