Why would I seek help?
I've learned to enjoy my addictions.
3 days. First day I was really bummed about something then I wondered how long I could go. Pretty recent
5 days. I had my tonsils out in like 2016ish around then. The night I had them out I was eating steak and chips, the morning after sandwich, and then the anesthetic fully left my system. I didn't eat for 5 days and lost 20kgs in 2 weeks overall. (73kg down to 53kg) Luckily I put it back on in about a month or so after it healed up.
I lost about 30 pounds in about 10 weeks doing almost this. I was eating about 1000-1200 calories a day and going on hikes and losing about 600 calories. I think I got sick cause of it though and had terrible headaches and a fever for almost a week. I am glad I lost all that weight but man that week I spent sick was just horrible. Right now I am about a week healthy. Thinking of going back to hiking to lose a bit more weight or maintain my weight now. This time I will take it more easy and not hike everyday as I was.
Used to do IF for 18 hours daily and a lot of times for 22hs without much problems. It's true that the hunger goes away at some point.
10 days. Was too long, lost a lot of weight.
I fast 2-3 times year - have found 3-4 days is the ideal duration (for me)
14 days. You forget you need to eat after a while and wonder if you ever need to go back to it.
Went backpacking in Colorado for a few days with a buddy of mine and we ended up getting caught by a freak thunderstorm. Lost our bags down a muddy slope on the way back to civilization and had to sleep that night under the stars (no tents....) Basically didn’t eat after breakfast the day before and didn’t get to eat until that night, so maybe 36 hours?
3 days. Right now it's been 23 hours.
The guy in this article has some insane will power
24 hours maybe
Eating is great
Not crazy long, I go about 17 hours once or twice a week, and about 14 hours daily. Usually around the 15 hour mark I get really hungry because I'm also working out hard on an empty stomach.
It exists, but fat people use its existence to justify eating every 3 or 4 hours. It's INCREDIBLY hard to actually get there. Like you have to starve yourself for a long time.
Had a rough weekend which involved a couple of different substances. Lost my appetite afterwards and did not eat for 48 hours.. When I ate again my stomach was crazy, was shitting water for two days. Do not recommend amphetamines!
Been doing one meal a day for four months now, with just water and Coke Zero at other times. Lost a lot of weight and feel great, physically.
