What's The Longest You've Gone Without Eating?

I do intermittent fasting most of the time and usually only eat once a day. The longest I've ever gone without eating is 71 hours. Not quite 3 days, but I could have easily gone longer. I wasn't even hungry at that point (day 2 was kinda tough), but stopped to keep from going into adaptive thermogenesis.

That's the mythical "starvation mode" fat people claim you will go into when not stuffing your face with sugar every 4 hours. From everything I've read, you get there by not eating 3-5 days, which I was trying to prevent. I also didn't want to lose any muscle. Gotta keep up my Sherbro rep! Anyway, what is the longest you've gone without eating?
 
Probably about a day.

I tried that intermittent fasting diet. 6 hours eating - 18 hours no eating.

Didn't really work for me, as I'd be so starved after the 18 hour fast, I'd eat too much (essentially eating my days worth of calories during the 6 hour window).
 
3 days here, I just couldn't be bothered and then forgot to eat. Realised I should probably have at least a small sandwich when I got off the sofa to go to the bathroom and pretty much collapsed into the wall.
 
I eat lunch at 11: and dinner at 19:00.. so pretty much wired for intermittent fastening.. i do eat whatever i want on those occations though..

Never really tried being without food but i suppose 24-28h is my "record".. felt like shit at 20h with headache, coffeine stomach and issues with blood pressure for about 2 hours.. after that i was kind of fine..

Would easily try fasting for a good/fun cause..
 
I just got off a two week semi-fast I call "The Calzone Challenge". Ate about 300 to 600 calories a day. Lost 8 pounds in two weeks. :)

3 days while on a bender in Las Vegas. Also went without sleeping which made it worse.
