What's the Best Way to Hunt Bear?

How many feet away do you need to be in order to shoot it and not have it chase after you?
Are bear traps a good investment or would booby traps be better?
What about leaving a trail of pigs blood and bacon grease for the bears to smell leading to the traps?

Hunting at night or day? Which do you prefer?
Have you ever thought about shooting a bear from a tree house?

From a tree stand with a bow! Actually I don't hunt, but I'd always though that would be a rush. A friend of mine trains dogs to flush them out and that seems to be pretty effective.

It is important to know where the bear has built it's den, preferably
you'd begin hunting when it has woken up for the season. So to try
and catch it when it is just freshly out and about to take care of it's bear

Light fire brush sticks and throw in den to smoke him out. Large bon fire in front of cave to slow bears escape,

Wait above cave. Hurl huge stone down as hard as possible onto bears head.

no joke there was a guy in the village who scared bear away with one two

he had 4 witnesses to back it up and was a known hunter

basically bear was coming at him he 1 2 the bear and it ran away, the 4 other people were picking up blueberries nearby
