17 wins and no loss outside UFC, with only 2 wins by decisions.
He comes to UFC, beats Johnson, who is on a losing streak, and he loses 2 in a row by KO against a ex-champion and a contender.

His fighting IQ is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he has a good chin, determination and good leg kicks.

3 fights in UFC, 3 Fight of the Night. At least he is very entertaining. I would like to see him against:
- Nate - if Nate decided to fight in 2020 at least.
- Ferg - it would be an interesting fight
- Vick - also, interesting

But he should get a not a top-ranked opponent, like Hernandez.

Questions:
- what do you think of his wrestling? Some say he is a legit wrestler, but he hasn't show anything wrestling related in UFC from what I know
- what do you think of his boxing?
- who do you want to see him against?

Step down in competition. No more power strikers for a while. Put him against a wrestler or a bjj guy.

Movement and head movement classes with Ido Portal and Edmond.

Hopefully a long fucking rest.

Dude needs to recover a little then come back in against fighters outside the top 10.

Back to boxing basics and a ground opponent, hopefully.

He needs to change his whole game. Keep the leg kicks

He should take a year off and come back against a lower top 10 guys like Chiesa or Iaquinta.

I still think he would have came back and won that one if Herb didn't stop it. He wasn't any more hurt than he was against MJ. As for who he fights next I agree with what the first guy said, no more power strikers. It's like they are intentionally putting him in fights they know will be brutal wars. I hope they take care of him if he ends up having to retire in a couple years. Throw him in with Chiesa or James Vick.

Big PPV, third slot against Lee vs Barboza winner or loser depending on what happens with the title. I know he lost two times in a row but both fights were competitve. Alvarez had to stop and pull guard because he couldn't stand on his leg and admitted he probably couldn't fight 2 more round on it later and Poirer also said he was thinking and cringing at the idea of going another round and a half on that leg. I feel Gaethje can beat the top 5 guys by just doing a few small adjustments, he's a top fighter in my eyes. Lee or Barboza would both be great fights for different reason and it wouldn't be a stepdown.

I think Al would beat him. He need's someone a little lower on the list. Chiesa would be interesting though, idk, Pettis?

He needs to rest and take some time off. Then if they rebook Pettis-Chiesa, he should fight Pettis after that.
