Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a huge Frankie fan, so I'm still a little gutted by what happened last night. Do you think that was his last chance at holding a second belt? Do you think he should go for another run at FW? If Conor holds on to the belt, Frankie can't be more than 2 wins away from a title shot. Do you think he should fight someone like Brian ortega, Lamas, or someone ranked around there, or just get right back in there with a top guy like Max?

OR are you one of those people who think he should cut to 135lbs. I don't like the idea of him cutting to 135lbs (at least not permanently), but if Aldo beats Conor, then Frankies chance at that 145lb belt are gone for good.

I'm still a huge Frankie fan, but props to Aldo for shutting Frankie's game down.

Frankie runs through anyone at 145 not named Jose Aldo imo, but he's definitely in a weird place atm.

Frankie said in the past that he would easily make 135, I personally feel like now is the right time for him to go to bantamweight.

He should consider retirement.

He's not going to get another title. He'll probably make a decent living while doing irreversible damage to his brain .

Not worth it

He's behind Aldo and Max in the pecking order at 145 and who knows how long it will be before Conor defends the belt. If Conor ends up beating Nate in the rematch I have a feeling it may be even longer before we see him back at 145.

I think he should try to go to 135.

Frankie himself said he could easily make 135, and I'm not sure but I think Joe Rogan may have talked about Frankie making the move soon on one of his podcasts. If Frankie can easily make the cut, I think he should go ahead and do it. Frankie fighting guys like Dillashaw, Cruz, Dodson, Barao etc. could be very fun.

Move to 135 and fight TJ for title shot or fight Caraway then loser of Dom v TJ.

If Aldo loses to Conor, he's definitely in the 145lbs title contention picture. If not, I think he should try his luck at 135 lbs. I can also see a scenario where Conor doesn't return to FW and maybe Aldo would give up the interim belt to try to get a fight with Conor at 155lbs.

I love Frankie but it's looking 135 is his only option

It would be doable for him if he wanted although much more of a cut than he likes

he's a gatekeeper type now for a co main of a fight night.

He's getting up there in age for a fighter. If he's comfortable with the cut, I'd love to see what he can do against some of the top guys at 135, Dom and TJ especially.

135 would be a good move for him, he was so tiny last night. couldn't believe how small he was, he made Aldo look massive. If he stays at FW.. then I wouldn't mind see Frankie vs Lamas

I don't think it's a good move at this stage in his career. He's got a solid two years left, and it takes time to get accustomed to a division. I wouldn't mind seeing him down there for a one off against cruz, though, but Edgar needs a win before that can happen.

I feel like either:

A. Back to LW
B. Retirement
C. BW

Don't think he stays at FW. LW probably not too realistic, it's hard to tell. If he drops down he should fight Caraway or Assuncao maybe. But Dom wants big fights so maybe he'd be welcome to him getting an immediate title shot. Thus setting up Dilly vs Faber... Hard to tell what will happen. He was super confident going into this rematch.

I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Frankie vs Silly Dilly

fuck yes. Drop down to BW, fight Caraway, win, get a title shot against dom, then retire win or lose. I think he has one last title shot left in his career, and going through Caraway might be his easiest path.
