What's next for Frankie? Holloway? 135?

The way Edgar looked tonight, there's no doubt that Holloway would pick him apart.
 
If I'm him, I by my time long enough, and win a few fights, and wait for the winner of Aldo/Conor, and get in line for the title shot. If he beats Holloway, and Conor wins, he should for sure get the shot. If Aldo wins, he could still fight Conor.

In fact, I think he should fight the loser of Aldo/Conor, and if Conor's the loser, big pay day for him. Basically, just try and get that big money fight with Conor, then move down, or retire. He's done it all, and doesn't need to fight anymore. Of course, he's still got a ton left in the tank, and if he feels good and healthy, why not keep collecting pay checks? He's still got a lifestyle to maintain, and hopefully he gets a gig with FOX, or some type of analyst job for the UFC.

The loser will be Aldo and he's lost to him twice, don't see them making that fight again.

lol this scenario would be disastrous. Not to mention Aldo would himself be in a position of seeking a third fight with McGreggor at 0-2.

I would say if offered Edgar should definitely take a fight against Holloway for the next title shot. I could also see him being matched up with Pettis if he gets past Oliveira.
 
If Conor beats Aldo, then Holloway vs Frankie. If Aldo beats Conor, then Conor vs Frankie.

Well then he can fight Conor. He's the only one of the top guys that hasn't fought him, and besides the loss to Aldo, he's been on a really goo winning streak. I think he should fight a top 5 guy beforehand, and hope Conor wins, and even if Conor loses, he can still fight him. I think either way you slice it, he should fight Conor. It's just a necessary fight to make, fan wise, and just division wise.

Plus, Frankie's earned a big money fight with Conor. He's put his time in, and the UFC should let him ride off into the sunset with a fat paycheck, and financially secure/stable.

That's a good fight, right there. Pettis might have problems with wrestlers, but that's with big wrestlers. Frankie's a smaller guy, and more of a finesse wrestler, more than a push you up against the cage type of wrestler. He'll give Pettis the opportunities to get some strikes off at least.
 
What about Barao? He's coming off a loss. That'd be interesting.

Funny, every MMA outlet shows Edgar having 3 wins over Penn, but you say otherwise. I'm all about facts buddy, the real world. That's where adults live not in some fairytale land.
 
He should take another fight at 145. Holloway works. He has to see how aldo conor 2 plays out before long term decisions are made. If aldo is at the top, then a move to 135 is likely. If conor stays at the top and beats aldo, and frankie gets a win, then have him fight conor.
