Dude is incredibly physically gifted, has been working on his cardio, and hopefully now learned a lesson about fighting wild, he's never been knocked out before and perhaps now he will fight with more technique instead of physical attributes. Man is young, and can still put up exciting fights I'll always be a fan no matter what even if he loses the next three, that's what being a real fan is about. Who would you guys like to see him fight next?

On another note, DHK made me a fan myself, too bad his nationalistic followers on Sherdog made him hard to like, (now I understand why people hate Shogun fans) DHK vs Carlos Condit rematch?

I'm not sure I care anymore. After tonight I'm just not sure if he has it in him to be championship, or top 5 for that matter, material.

If you can cut Okami for winning fights and being a top contender then it is only right for them to cut Silva the same way.

The kid has his chance to shine against top opponents like Fitch and Dong and has flopped time after time.

Hell he is not even a Gate Keeper not even a Top 10 talent he is now a step below just some other guy right now.

The same reason they keep people like Pat Barry, Kongo, Melvin Guillard, and many others, they have stuck around for so long because of entertaining fights, they either get ktfo, or ktfo out of someone, people love violence.

I think a training camp switch up might be nice. When he's on fire he looks great but his two actual loses are a different story. Yes he fought two legit WW's but he was only competitive in both fights for less than a round. They'll probably ease him up that latter again.

I'd like to see him fight Rick Story tbh.

It is just Dana's failed attempt to push a young prospect only to have it slap back in his face lol. This kid is just not ready for the Big Leagues. I really think he should be cut and go to Shark Fights or somewhere lesser.

He'll get another fight that he might win.

He definitely has tons of potential.

He needs to be brought a long slower.

Guy always looks promising, like someone else said, a camp change might do him good, somewhere focused on more cardio and technique, should go to Greg Jacksons in my honest opinion. Nothing wrong with trying to improve a fighter who only has two real losses to two top 10 welterweights. He almost knocked out DHK twice, and almost subbed Fitch, so it's not like he was destroyed, obvious fan here, and I can admit he lost fair and square, but I'd still give him a chance, just wish he would change to another camp.

Just take a look at Cub Swanson four bad loses and he went from prospect, to "can", to now being a contender.

He's 29 so this "kid" label is ridiculous. He needs to win his next fight in dominating fashion and show he's a 29yo grown man or gtfo to bellator. Right now he would get CRUSHED by the top 5.

Matt Brown if he loses. Or Robbie if he loses. Or Kampmann. Or Pierce.

Kongo's since been cut and has fought in Bellator.

Erick Silva's gifted, I'm sure he'll rebound... or maybe Dong stole his will.

Actually Kongo wasn't cut. He didn't like something about the contract offered I believe, so he took the Bellator deal instead.

Holy shit. The guy gets caught one time and he's a fucking can? Sherdog never ceases to surprise me. He was looking great. Hell, right before the punch he had Stun Gun rocked badly. Stun Gun has looked great since the Condit fight, too.

Next for Silva? Probably a fight against someone like Story or Pierce.

Shields vs Silva would be great but I think their on different ranks now based on this outcome

I say Silva vs Paul Harris if Paul ever gets cleared to fight again (he shouldn't be)
