I personally think he needs to only fight guys in the top 25 and edge his way to a title shot. I think he could possibly be a world champion. in the same way a lot of other B+ fighters won belts. I think GGG Vs lemieux and quillin vs lemieux would be decent fights

A sound beating from a top 160 pounder.

He's got that french/canadian accent too, so he's got the exotic thing going on too.

If he was undefeated the Golovkin would be brutal. Thank God for Alcine and Rubio.

Saw the fight earlier today, and damn he has power. Really f'ed Guerrero up. I'd like to see him fight quillen or anyone at 160 not named GGG. His short arms and lack of head movement will cost him down the line but it does look like he's filled at at 160 pretty well.

I do think he'll get a title shot off this win. If not wouldnt mind a rubio rematch (i think he takes it).

for whatever reason people seem to be extra hard on him....He's an exciting, marketable all-action fighter with a built in fan base, Why root against him?
The Rubio and Alcine fights will have been 3+ years ago come next time He fights and he looks to have progressed.

yeah I don't think he'll ever be a legit champion but 160 isnt very deep.

Remember he was Golovkin and lost to Alcine and Rubio. What you're seeing with Lemieux is the backlash to hype jobs.

I always thought he should fight at 154. He looks filled into 160 now though. Honestly, a Rubio rematch is intriguing. Some shitty belt made Rubio the mandatory a few months back didn't they?

He's the WBC mandatory so he's definitely off the table as a Martinez or Cotto fought is possible.

Lemieux impressed the heck out of me. I'm not saying he's the next GGG, but he is only 25 years old. His two losses a few years ago have been when he was way too inexperienced to take on such opponents. The time has arrived where Lemieux has grown from those losses and more than capable of taking on and beating anyone not named GGG in the middleweight division at this point.

Martinez would fight him in Argentina for an easy payday.

Thank God he lost to Alcine because this is pretty bad but it could be worse if he had no losses.
