That fight would be epic... Curtis Blaydes vs Francis Ngannou.. or will he wait for the Stipe vs Cormier winner? I think he is next in line for a title shot.

Winner of Ngannou vs. Lewis should fight Blaydes. Winner of that fight should fight the winner of Stipe vs. DC for the title.

Blaydes vs Volkov for #1 contender spot?? Sounds good to me.

He's probably in line for a shot and I have no real problem with that, but I'd like to see him against someone else in the top 10 first.

Give him Tai Tuivasa so he can murder that disgusting slob

He already fought Ngannou
Short notice and it was his UFC debut, run that shit back. This time with a qualified just bleed doctor that won't stop the fight for a wittle eye injury.

BOB Crime sounds about right, yes.

(If you can get the African to fight anyone besides Lesnar.)

Easy win for Blaydes,he would just wrestle Volkov into oblivion. Eliminating a possible contender like Volkov doesn't sound like a good idea because HW division is stagnant and the queue for title shot is very short. Blaydes should fight for the title and Volkov needs to wait for his opportunity.

Depends on the results of Ngannou/Lewis and Stipe/Cormier for me.

If Lewis and Stipe win they should fight each other and Blaydes should fight Ngannou. If Ngannou beats Lewis and Stipe wins, do Stipe/Blaydes. If DC wins? no fucking idea since he may well retire right after.

Thanks. With you around we won't need to watch any fights.

he's already said no offense to Volkov who's a great fighter, but he's only interested in someone ranked higher than him, and/or Ngannou.

“I want the belt,” Blaydes said after UFC 225. “If they’re not going to give me the belt, (I want) Ngannou. I’m not going after guys (ranked) below me – only guys above me. No disrespect to Volkov. He’s amazing. If he was ranked No. 1, we’d go at it.”
that being said, if Volkov wins and he nor Blaydes are given title shots for whatever reason, they'd probably be willing to fight each other.

so ya, the list is short; Volkov, Ngannou, Stipe and DC. JDS is rightfully just behind them if he wins in July.

So we want to avoid tough matchups for a certain style of fighter now?

Can we just have a ranking system and have guys climb the ladder?

This, I love how dudes love to forget that. Also didn't get finished by Ngannou.

Blaydes beats that ass this time.

I see this as the logical next fight for both guys. It’ll be a good opportunity to see if Volkov has improved his wrestling since his losses to Kongo and Tony.

This is a tricky situation as always. Both Volkov and Blaydes are, in my opinion, deserving of a title shot.
Stipe is fighting soon. If the fight is a slugfest, Stipe will want time to rest and if both guys are lucky, Stipe might fight one of them before 2019. So, if both of them wait their turn, one of them is sitting around waiting until 2019. Then it'd be better for them to face each other.
I don't think the belt system works in UFC.
Anyway, I'd personally like to see Stipe Vs Blaydes. Both have good wrestling. I think Stipe would beat him via unanimous decision.
