after the Gus / Rumble fight who does Jones fight? Evans II, DC II, Glover II. Wait for the loser of Gus / Rumble to get a couple of wins and than them? How about Phil Davis? What I'm saying is there doesn't seem to be any exciting or big money fights after Jones's next fight. Just a bunch or rematches and a fight I'm sure a lot of people aren't interested in , Phil Davis.

You will be asking yourself "Who does Gus fight next" after that fight so don't worry.

He can fight OSP for a title shot, maybe, if Gus is nice.

I wouldn't be supprized to see the UFC look for Jones/Cormier 2 should Jones beat the Rumble/Gus winner. Maybe have Cormier/Davis or Cormier vs the Rumble/Gus loser in the summer.

well we all know who Gus fights next if he beats Jones, Gus vs Jones III:icon_lol:
That being said Gus beating Jones would in my opinion be better for the UFC and MMA. Another big fight with Jones, the trilogy, and if Gus wins the third one there are a lot of fights for him. Glover, Evans, DC, etc.

I never understood why people are so negative about this.I have watched since ufc 1 and one thing that's always stayed true is there is always someone else. The divisions change so fast, contender's are always there. How often has a division just ended up with no challengers for a long period?never in over 20 years. It'll be 6 months before Jones fights again and probably another 6 months after that and that's if he doesn't get injured. How much can change in a year?A ton!I always laugh when I hear people crying that there isn't anyone left or there won't be.For all we know he could fight both Gus and Rumble have a superfight with Velasquez, possibly another fight with Cormier, other contenders emerge, maybe even move up to HW or possibly lose to Gus or Rumble. There's always going to be something,I don't understand why people don't realize this,so dumb.

Probably a Weidman superfight if Weidman beats Belfort.

That's a possibility. I can only speak for myself, but I would have zero interest in that fight.

I think it was a mistake to line up Gus vs. Rumble as many people including myself want to see exactly these 2 fighters against Jones.

I kind of agree. While I'm looking forward to the fight more than likely Rumble loses and he has to start over again.

The division is done after Gus/Rumble.

Bones can decide what he wants after that.

I agree. I mean sure there will always be contenders but do you really want to watch jones fight Glover, DC, or Evans again? Maybe DC. Does anyone really want to watch Jones fight Phil Davis or OSP?
