Undoubtedly in Worldwide MMA you've had a fighter in the back of your mind who you look up and it seems like they've disappeared. Lets see if we can get some answers.

Whatever happened to Willamy Freire? Shooto champ, beat Patricky Freire, fought for the UFC and Dream once a piece. 26-6 record, hasn't fought since 2013 when he was 25.

He probably retired because there's no money in MMA. After Dream and UFC let him go he didn't have many options.

Interesting note: He won his last fight by DQ after his opponent faked getting hit in the nuts...

The problem with these threads is that 9/10 no one has any idea what happened to the fighters.

How about Dan "Cosmo" Cramer? Felt like he would have been a good opponent for Brandon Halsey's return. Was supposed to fight Tamdan McCrory on the British Invasion show. Hasn't fought since Fall 2014 and still shows up on Bellator's website.

Doug Marshall too, hasn't fought since Fall 2014.

Oh and also, will Stephen Bonnar ever fight in Bellator again?

He wasn't an elite level fighter, but I found him pretty exciting to watch. He had a pretty fun fight against Donald in the WEC back when he first started out. He hasn't been around since 2010 though. And he's 33 now, it's not too late to jump back in.

Made a thread asking about Chad Griggs a few weeks ago with mixed results.

It would be cool if there was some sort of collection of information on all fighters who seemed to fall out of the public eye.

I always wondered what happened to Griggs (and his sideburns). Hasn't fought in over 3 years, disappeared after losing both UFC fights by sub.

And speaking of Griggs, where's Diabate, the last guy to beat him?

The number one that pisses me off is what happened to Magomed Sultanakhmedov?? He is still only 31 and hasn't fought in 5 years and had High level potential

Denis retired because of concern over fighting's effect on the brain.

Pequeno Nogueira had injury problems but was rumored to be fighting for RIZIN last year. Nothing has come of it as far as I know though.

Amilcar is bouncing around in Brazil but also fought for ROAD FC not too long ago. He challenged for a Shooto Brasil belt back in August.

Takeshi is still fighting for Shooto/VTJ, he just hasn't been very active post-DREAM (or successful). I don't believe he has retired or anything though. He might just be focusing on his gym.

He was scheduled to make his return to MMA at an M-1 show September 2015 but pulled out due to an Arm Injury at the last minute.
