Not including how he won, but just that fact that he beat the guy. And only considering the quality of the opponent, and at what stage of their career his opponents were in when he beat them. In order of relevance, what would you say they are?

    I'd say

    1) Hendo
    2) Franklin
    3) Belfort
    4) Sonnen
    5) Marquardt

Sakurai was like 14-0 and regarded as #1 p4p when Anderson beat him. He's top 5 easily.

I'd say the same but not particularly in that exact order.

Forrest is a better win than Marquardt. Otherwise, yeah, I would probably agree.

    Hendo

    Sonnen

I put Forrest in there. He fought him right after losing the belt to rashad. But if you're just talking mw yeah that pretty much be it.

    Well what's your list then?

Is Sakurai after Hendo and Franklin or before?

Personally, I place Franklin over Hendo. Mainly for a few reasons, the obvious being the plain force that Ace used to be before Anderson took over. Rich had just blown everyone out of the water in the MW division at the time.

    I'd have:

    Hendo
    Franklin
    Sakurai
    Forrest
    Vitor

Sakurai isn't as high as Hendo or Franklin because they accomplished more in MMA but he's higher than Forrest and Vitor because of how massive a win it was at the time. In reality you could mix and match that list whatever way you want but Sakurai was a massive win at the time. Literally the best win at the time.
