Buy my parents and closest friends nice houses. Pay my debts.

Move to California and buy a house there, then travel the world. Train bjj and chill, smoke a lot of weed. Get a mail order bride and have her sign a strict prenup.

Apart from quitting my job, I'm not sure if my life would change at all.

yep I think the same.... I would probably put all of it in the bank (or different banks) and just live "comfortably" with my wife for the rest of my life... buy houses for our parents and travel a lot would probably be the biggest expenses

First and foremost.

Pay off debt for my parents and 2 siblings (houses, vehicles, loans, etc.).

Invest.

Quit my job, travel and train (BJJ, Kickboxing, Boxing).

Help a few select friends and relatives out.

I'd go to a poor country and buy all the orphan kids Yeezeys and $120 plain white shirts so they can panhandle in style.

I'd also buy a maority stake in KFC and make them sell only tofu.

Upgrade to a bigger house, but nothing too crazy, maybe $800k-$1million, pay off all my family's debts, buy a Lamborghini, then retire and travel for a couple of months every year with the Mrs.

I would travel the world for an entire year. Then I'd buy a big house on the beach somewhere.
Why not just do that now. It isn't that expensive to travel for a year and swap out buying a house by the Bea for renting and you are set. Just rent one in a place like Thailand or Philippines

I'd take a handful of people with me and move somewhere warm and far away. Somewhere beautiful.

I'd spend time doing art, or what I consider art and live comfortably the rest of my life. I would just want to live peacefully and not worry about bills and bullshit anymore.

Man that's me

Move out, help out friends and family, pursue my passions.
You don't need 20 million dollars to move out of your mum's basement and pursue your passions. Just make it happen today.

Seriously. Sounds like alot of people on here not living their ideal lives. It is easier than you think.

You don't need 20 million dollars to quit your job, move to Hawaii and train BJJ. Follow your dreams bro.

.....true....but that's one helluva leap of faith bro. If I had the means one could do it without the stress.

I know this sounds stupid....I truly do. And that's why this idea is just in fantasy land. But I love pizza so I would want to open the most fucking awesome pizza place. I'd travel around, eating at different places, and perfecting a recipe. I wouldn't even give a shit if my place made any money as long as it had the fucking greatest pizza ever.

That being said I'd also not waste too much money in a losing enterprise. I'd hopefully invest most of it wisely. And if my wider portfolio supported my pizza place, to a small degree, I'd be fine with that.
There’s a guy who did something similar, but with burgers. Dude went to the US and hit up every reputable burger shop he could find in order to find the best burger. Dude then took his experience and started a chain of burger shops here in Seoul. I haven’t tried many burger stores in the US to compare, but they are the best burgers I have ever had. Juicy patties cooked to perfection, with fresh homemade buns made every day, and they make this amazing garlic aioli and horseradish mayo sauce that goes so well with the burgers. Even a lot of Americans who go there say it’s as good, perhaps even better than their favorite burger joints in the States.

I'd buy a mega church and turn into the worlds biggest porn shop. Half off black fist dildos to whomever mentions this post.

Probably buy my mom and dad houses, set up a live-in motorcycle shop close to the beach and invest the rest.

For most people, there is very little stopping them from pursuing their passion. It’s only their fear of being uncomfortable that prevents them. Even if they won 20 mil, most would probably stay where they are. There’s a way to balance your current financial situation with doing what you want. I used to not write thinking I didn’t have the time to put in the time to hone my skills until I realized that was bullshit. I work fulltime so instead of putting in 4-6 hours a day writing like full-time writers do, I do it 1 hour a day. Honestly I would have way more time to write if I cut back on hanging out with my friends and playing video games.

I know a guy who says he would love to train muay thai regularly but can’t because he works full time. I shake my head when I think of the current national Bantamweight champion in my country who works fulltime at a law firm. He does roadwork on his lunchbreak and goes straight to the gym after clocking out. Most people are terrified of being that committed.

And I have to admit to myself that I am the same as well. I think of the ambitious endeavors I want to attempt but don’t, what is really stopping me from pursuing them? Nothing. I’m just a little uncomfortable and a bit scared. I dream of millions of dollars falling unto my lap so I can finally do what I “really want” instead of doing it right fucking today.

Maybe buy an island.

Set up some scholarship program for underprivileged kids that really want to make it.

Set up a "de-stress" center.

See the world, maybe outer space.
