What would you do all day without the internet?

A lot of us are cord cutters so if the internet is down that also means that all of the streaming services you have would also be down. So unless you have an antenna for your TV to watch normal channels you wouldn't be able to watch TV at all.

Few years ago I rented a villa in the middle of nowhere in a tiny hamlet in Tuscany. No internet whatsoever, you had to drive for 10 minutes or so just for cell service. It was bliss. Don't think I could do that now though.

What changed or are those "few" years more like 15..........

Time seems to slip by quicker as you get older.......... It's much too short......

I just asked why you changed.
As an example, I Took 6 or so massive Italian cooking books with me, now I just have to tap a few keys on my iphone and it's all there. I really would struggle without it. I could turn my phone off and stick it in a drawer, but I would be lost now if I had to drive for 10 minutes to get a signal.

We are from the in-between generation.......... remember an A-Z

Work out, nail the wife, go hiking, build some shit, nail the wife again, watch MMA fights, ...

No shortage of stuff.

Organize stuff or wax poetic musings of nature and the future.

Smoke weed, do yard work, play Total War, exercise, draw/model, etc. same shit I do when I do have the internet, but with less distraction.

Yesterday the internet was down at work for like 2 hours and I nearly had a panic attack.
If a natural disaster somehow knocked out the internet for an extended period of time (like a week), what would you do all day? This means no playing games, streaming videos, porn, shopping, etc.

Work out, move stuff over to the new house and read some books... also spend more time with friends and family I guess?

Trenchcoat + shades + shopping mall

Got to beat off to something.

I have a book handy more often than not and procrastinate way more irl stuff than I should
