Attack the body early and often. That's what JDS did, and Reem has a great set of tools to do this without putting himself in danngerous exchanges. I don't think Reem can bully a guy like Stipe like he did Brock, maybe when he was heavier.

overeem have strong body kicks and well umm nice obligue kicks
he also have nice angled hooks and leaning straights
jumping kicks and knees

going for uber knee might be disaterous when stipe still fresh
but overeem is strong as fuck so he might be able to lock those hands up going for the knee

avoid that right hand and avoid fucking brawling
avoid the pocket, stay in kicking range till he sees a crack
no pickaboo K1 reem, the gloves are too small in MMA

just like JDS fight, just like arlovski fight

Pretty much what everyone else said. He has to expect to be in it for the long game and a 5 round fight. Play the range game, kicks from the outside - to the legs and body. When Stipe gets in boxing range, he should tie up immediately, put his weight on him, land a few knees, then get back out. In later rounds he should initiate the clinch and continue with knees and elbows. Work on his Greco, surviving on the bottom and getting back up.
