What would be Misha's strategy against Rousey?

I respect Misha. She is a true warrior, and can take punishment like no other woman. However, I have a hard time seeing a pathway to beat Rousey. I don't think she can take Rousey to the ground and threaten her with a submission or ground and pound. If she strikes with Rousey she will get exposed for takedowns, and she is not such a great kick boxer either. I don't thinkt Rousey will ever fight again as a blind stupid furious bull, eating counters, as she did against Holly.

What do you guys think?
 
Same as Holly's. Keep distance and box her up. Learn to defend against Judo throws and hip toss.

Take her down instead and go straight back up to feet.
 
She was able to stand with Rousey last time. As long as she's not overly aggressive, she can likely still stand with her.

Do you think her boxing is far superior to Ronda's?
 
First two replies nailed it. She should do her best to replicate what Holly did. Which she's seen now & fought first hand, which I think helps her significantly. That & the IQ & camp improvements. Miesha can beat her on the feet. She has tagged her pretty good in the past.

Lol yes. If not far superior it is at least on par or a bit better. Both times she lost by submission. And she stood her ground or did very fell against Holly on the feet. Yes, I think Tate has better stand up.

Avoid getting hit, Ronda actually has power but luckily her boxing...yeah
Avoid going strength for streng try h because Ronda is pretty strong, that is less of a factor now I think since rondas body kind of...changed. Not just her current state but in the octagon, the abs are long gone etc.

Nah, Rouseys just stood out more because she bullrushed. They're striking is equally as bad as eachother except Ronda actually has some power. I say Ronda via sub 2nd round. Miesha doesn't have the skillset to execute Holms blueprint. Rousey already has 2 blueprints of her own for Miesha.

I agree. Half the girls at my gym with two years of sparring experience has better boxing than Ronda.

She has 2 copies of the same blueprints.

Miesha was doing well in their 2nd fight. She was kiting Ronda and lighting her up with jabs but Ronda eventually caught her in a clinch. Miesha need to learn to turn or redirect. You can't just keep going back in a straight line. As long as she strafes left or right and defend the clinch/take downs, she will be fine. Don't think Tate will get KO.
 
its rock, paper, scissors with women's division.

holly can evade rondas aggression, meisha can't.
meisha can dominate holly on the ground. ronda can dominate meisha on the ground.

meisha won't hold the title for long. the scorecards sat night showed that.
sucks because i like her....but she can't win on the cards and she can't stop the armbar.
 
Holly's strategy worked for Holly because she was - 1. a world class boxer, 2. a southpaw, 3. faster than Ronda, 4. taller than Ronda, 5. longer reach than Ronda, 6. much better cardio than Ronda, and 7. using the strategy against someone who never seen it before. None of these things would apply to Tate if she used the same strategy.
Her path to victory is submission. Carmouche came close. She has to recognize that the fight will go to the ground and try to win it there.
