What will UFC do if Aldo pulls a Palhares in McGregor fight?

It's clear that Aldo doesn't like the guy at all, I can imagine him cranking a submission and refusing to release the hold. How exactly can the UFC punish him if he does that? If they suspend/release him they'll lose the huge money in rematch fight and Aldo could call McGregor the paper champ.

I mean Aldo already openly said that he'll do something crazy if Conor provokes him in the buildup to that july fight, saying that there's no way UFC will cancel the fight.

I have a feeling that Aldo really wants to hurt Conor badly, he's in his head but I don't think this is a good thing for McGregor...

Dana would personally suspend Aldo and gift his new puppy with the belt.

Aldo ain't gonna do shit.

hard to apply a sub when your head is rolling away from your body

He wouldn't do something like that he has class. If he did he would get in trouble.

The UFC wouldn't do anything at all. The state athletic commission is who banned Palhares, right?

I doubt he'd do that, but if he did he'd probably get a fine or something fairly minor from the NAC. It's not like he has a history of doing shit like that like Palhares does.

After Aldo gets KO'd stiff, he can get on his knees, and kiss the feet of the new King.

Conor bless

It is hard to submit someone when you are home in your bed trying to act injured.

And Anderson said he would do something that's never been on inside the octagon in his rematch with Chael.

Aldo is too professional to do something that dirty. That being said Mcgregor is under his skin bad or Aldo is a better actor than Sherdog gives him credit for.

White belts shouldn't be allowed to make threads.

he did. I've never seen someone grab the shorts and punch. And, though the bulk of the knee was to the chest, he kind of got away wth a knee to the face of a downed opponent tko. So he was right, no? Not to mention shouldering him in the jaw pretty hard at the weigh ins.

Like Gabe said above, I don't see Aldo "playing dirty" or fighting with reckless emotions. It's simply not how he rolls. Therefore, UFC's reaction to X is moot.

This is kinda what i was expecting when Aldo said something like 'i'll hurt him like never before'.

Dont remember if i posted about it or not.

Think about it: Conor tapped to a RNC and a kneebar in the past (imo not the most 'scary' subs).

If Aldo cranked a heelhook (way scarier sub imo), it would be absolutely devastating to Conor's fight and training style. He already has a knee injury, and his 'animal movement' stuff and kicks would be ruined by the kind of leg injuries a heelhook could inflict.

Im fairly certain that Aldo has said he'd finish the fight fast, so i think its reasonable to expect that he goes for subs, and in particular, 'hurt him like never before' implies a new type of sub that Conor's never lost to before.

I dont necessarily think that Aldo would go full Palhares and crank for seconds past the stoppage though.

At least thats the way i see it. Anything's possible. We'll find out soon enough.

Hope Conor fights smart and safe
