What weight should Anthony Pettis fight at?

I think at this point he would be best at featherweight, I honestly don't think he gave it enough of a chance when he tried it. Some guys it takes a few fights to get the weight cut down and he only did it once.

I would like to see Pettis fight Michael Johnson at FW or LW.

I love watching Showtime fight, he has a wide variety of skills and can beat anyone if he is on. I do think he should go to Bellator at this point though, he already won UFC gold and I'm pretty sure he won't be winning it again. In Bellator he'll have some fun matchups at 155, and 170lbs.

He's fit for 155. He's too small for 170LB. He may get some wins at Welterweight, but guys like Usman are just way to big for him.

He looked like death at 145. 155 was his best weight class, but he’s older and has accumulated damage, so maybe staying at 170 and taking sensible fights (like Matt Brown) may be the best option.

It depends what he wants to do. If he accepts he's not holding a belt again, he may as well stay at 170 and not have to put himself through bad weight cuts.

he is too big for 145 and too small to be at the top at 170.
