I saw ufc 1 when I was a kid like 8 or 9 and though it was pretty cool. It didnt really mean anything to me until I started watching Pride around the time wand lost to dan henderson. I remember seeing this highlight of wanderlei and it just scared the living shit out of dudes.Seeing dudes get kicked in the head and looking dead was crazy. At first I hated it but eventually I saw how brave the fighters were and became a fan. What was it like for you guys?

The first fight I saw was David Loiseau Vs Steve Vigneault around 2000-2001.
I thought that was really cool, but I was younger and a HUGE boxing fans at that time. I didn't reall got into MMA until later when Gsp rise begun. (2005)

I don't really remember when I first saw mma, probably in about 2007 or 08. I just remember thinking it was the coolest thing ever! And I still do!

I loved pro wrestling, and this was like that but real! All the age old questions as to which martial arts is the best was answered, it was like enlightenment! The answer was kung fu :p

I saw UFC 1 found it interesting but but nothing more. I forgot about it until one of my friends told me about this croatian guy that kicks heads in Japan. He lent me some VHS' and I've been an MMA fan ever since.

I kind of knew what it was but didn't at the same time. I think the first fight I actually ever saw was Southworth/Sincaid on TUF 1. Being a wrestler at the time, I liked how you could integrate wrestling into a fight and use it to dominate. So I thought it was pretty damn cool.

    Disgusted.

Was a tall skinny guy Vs some short guy syndrone nugget.

The Nugget had his arm dislocated.

    Seemed like senseless Brutaility.

Few years later I saw Sell Vs Smith and enjoyed the respect shown by each fighter, while they plied their trade.
Within a month I was Hooked,
Within a year I was in the gym.
Within 2.5 years I was in a cage.
