Does anyone know the brand used
harbingers and/or boxergenics
Bit of bumf on them and how they looked as opposed to the current ones upon their site which are not visually the same..
And didnt Tank use Harbingers? That was his choice though I think?
And gloves became mandatory around UFC 14 or so when they started to clean up the rules and move away from No Holds Barred and towards the MMA of today.
I feel like Boxergenic made the very originals but I could be mistaken.
boxergenics, then ouano... now... I don't know
Century makes the new ones. To me they look too awkward and bulky.
the new ones actually are pagged really well.
boxergenics isn't the actual company they just sell them the originals are made by cleto reyes, besudes toe harbingers tank got on his own.
look for yourself
what does that wrist say there?
The first glove in the ufc was a single boxing glove used on one hand.
and the winner!
Remember in UFC 3 when Felix Mitchell wore red gloves to the ring but took them off before he fought? What kind of gloves were those?
Yo Shadow, looking at the top photo of those Boxergenics gloves didnt they originally have neoprene finger loops?
yes indeed they did.
when i bought mine in 1997 it came straight from boxergenics, not cleto reyes.
^They have those on there too, called the "Original Grappling Glove", made directly by them I'd like to say.
Good.Cos,I remember actually using them and was scared my memory was failing me....old timer doncha know?
yea, mine had the big red cross on them and were by Boxergenics too.Guess at some stage they changed manufacturers/got bought up or rebranded them. And b_ you musta been around a while too....
