    Anyone familiar with it?

It looked like some kind of distraction then hit/feint look strike combo but Im not familiar with it in my training. Was it something they worked on or that Jones came up with on the fly?

Is that from a particular martial art style?

Its called looking someone off. you do it if someone is looking at your eyes in a fight.

Hmm, yes and no. Yes I have trained it where you look high strike low with your eyes or put your head down and kick up but never look away (turn your head away) then strike. Its very odd. I wonder if it was improvised...

Also I searched your wording on Google and came up with nada.

Its what it was called when I had it done by a trainer to me. If the other person is paying too much attention to your head it can break their focus away from your hands. You can do it when people stare at your hands too.

It was very interesting to say the least. It seemed exaggerated so I wasnt sure if it was improvised or rehearsed.

    That Jones tho, GOAT. :icon_chee

Prolly been said before but it reminded me of the "no-look pass" as seen in soccer/football.
    Edit; and in basketball etc.

He also does the lyoto machida get big eyes before you attack fake. He'll fake attacking and his eyes will get huge just like if he was attacking.

He fakes spinning elbows and spinning back kicks

It's sketchiness. It's like faking a handshake and cracking your opponent.
