Just blatantly turning her back in the middle of the fight 3 times. Did she just want out? Stil hurt from the first round?

Pretty impressive considering Joanne Jedrzejczyk couldn't knock her out, and she messed up Jessica Penne.
 
She does weird stuff when she get's hurt. When Joanna rocked her with that front kick, Val dramatically turned her head to the other side. She's very tough tho.

I also think Calderwood may have broken like 3 of her ribs.
 
Valerie is extremely tough but at the same time reacts very badly when she takes a good shot, it's interesting to watch.
 
She kept looking for an out but the sadist ref was hell bent on not giving her one.

That was some terrible reffing. This guy steps in between them when Valerie gets hurt and flinches and then just says "keep going lol".

I'm usually on the side of referees, as it's a totally thankless job, and when you get stuff right (which is a mass majority of the time), nobody praises you, but when you fuck up, everyone is on your shit.

That being said, that was a poor job from the official. He should've been able to identify that Letourneau was hurt from the body shots, and not selling a "wardrobe malfunction" (or several).
 
Valerie was giving clear indication that she was done.. she waved it off at the ref, she was saying it to JoJo.. should have been called there
 
It was a weird situation because Calderwood hesitated, maybe going on her old MT etiquette which in Europe at least, calls for you to stop and wait for reset in case of wardrobe issues, fighter getting leg tangled in ropes, etc. And this in turn confused the shaky ref.

That was kind of weird. It was like "time out, she might be hurt. Are you okay? Alright, continue."
 
The front kick to the tit nearly took her top down and she was grabbing at it to keep her top up.It was a pretty appalling performance by the ref should of been stopped in the 1st
 
Was so awkward the way calderwood just ran up behind her and kneed her ass
 
That ref was incompetent. What was he thinking? She was pulling the tuck tail and cower gambit?

Why blame the ref? coaches know their fighter better than the ref to throw in the damn towel or not.
