IMO, post fight highlight packages released by sites like bloodyelbow and sherdog are titled "**insert fight name** full fight highlights." Because they're paid to do so to curb illegal viewing of the fight that just took place. No one really talks about it, but it makes a ton of sense for media outlets to tag on "full fight" when they release highlight videos to curb pirating, if paid to do so. Otherwise, it makes zero sense to name your video "full fight highlight".

Increases traffic to your website without illegally posting content - most of those ''full fight highlight'' articles on sites like MMAJunkie are links to Twitter clips uploaded by the UFC.

I didn't look at it in that context. That changes everything. Calling it "full fight" highlights, have always bugged me. Because it isn't a natural thing to call a highlight package. It feels very forced.

UFC bribes USADA to get Bork and JJ back in the cage.

you think sherdog pays mmajunkie to name their youtube videos "full fight highlights" instead of "highlights", so that people will find those instead of actual full fight videos on youtube, for the short time those actual full fight videos are on youtube before they get pulled?

i don't even think that's a conspiracy theory....just somewhere between silly and daft.

here's mine: UFC knew Brock would probably test positive against Hunt, so they used the USADA loophole to get him in to fight anyway.

here's another: UFC knew they would never re-create PrideFC and never really tried, even though when they bought PrideFC they said they would try.

Judges and Refs paid off to "favor" fighters.

Novitsky helps certain fighters on the roster so they won't get caught by USADA.

The UFC has plants in some of these mma forums to promote their brand. This came out a few years ago through a leak, no one seems to remember it though.

No, it's just common SEO practice. The goal is not to stop illegal views, but to get a click from all those who are looking for it. Just like looking for a free version of the latest Game of Thrones episodes turns into a small maze of ads : you'll quickly find what you are looking for, but not without seeing a bunch of ads from useless sites.

UFC and USADA are protecting and helping a lot of PED users
