Before the fight everyone was saying Bendo would win. After it turned into an excuse that he was just too small.

So lets hear the Zuffa fans predictions now. If given a year to get the weight up who could go up and win at a weight class above?

Mighty Mouse vs Galvao
Dom Cruz vs Strauss
McGregor vs Will Brooks
RDA vs Koreshkov
Lawler vs bellators crappy 185 lb champ
Rockhold vs Liam
Jones vs Minakov

Spoilers bro.

Kidding, what happened?

UFC champs win every one of these match-ups. 'cept for Brooks/Conor. Brooks smashes him.

winners in orange

Mighty Mouse vs Galvao
Dom Cruz vs Strauss
McGregor
vs Will Brooks
RDA vs Koreshkov
Lawler vs bellators crappy 185 lb champ
Rockhold vs Liam
Jones
vs Minakov

I could see Lawler and Rockhold winning easily. McGeary is crazy on the ground but so is Rockhold. I would pay to watch that fight for sure. Lawler fought at 185 for a while so it isnt an unknown for him. Jones could win as well but honestly I dont remember Minakovs last fight.

Mighty Mouse would beat Galvao easily.

MM, Rockhold and Jones win easily. Brooks beats Conor easily. Dom Cruz/Strauss and RDA/Koreshkov are very intriguing matchups.

everyone but dominick cruz and mcgregor i would have as the favorite.

but liam wont be champ for long, and when phil has that belt, rockhard would be a significant underdog.

Brooks beats Conor, Straus has a shot at Dom.

DJ, Lawler, Rockhold and Jones take it pretty easily.

Mighty Mouse vs Galvao - MM, Marcos Galvao couldn't even hang in the WEC and lost to Bowles and Page
Dom Cruz vs Strauss - Cruz easily, Strauss is sloppy in a weak FW division
McGregor vs Will Brooks - Leaning towards Brooks
RDA vs Koreshkov - Koreshkov
Lawler vs bellators crappy 185 lb champ - Lawler stomps!!!
Rockhold vs Liam - Rockhold
Jones vs Minakov - Jones

Truth is Bellator keeps losing their TRUE champions, Cole Konrad was the true king of Bellator and forced to retire due to lack of good opponent and payday; Hector Lombard left Bellator for UFC; Ben Askren was abandoned due to being too "boring", Eddie Alvarez left for UFC.

The bums that are champs today are all previously failed-challengers become champs by default, they're not fighting the best challengers and defend their title maybe once per year.

For the WFW division, Miesha already beat Coenen and Ronda and Nunes already beat Budd. XD

I'm iffy about Conor vs Brooks...
As much as I love Conor

But literally every other UFC champ wins dominantly in your scenario

There's a lot more to size differences that just getting their weight up. It's hard to put on height and overall frame size, you can pack muscle onto your frame but that's not the same thing. Size definitely matters when most other aspects are equal, if there's a big gap in skill set then it can be overcome, but when you have 2 highly skilled fighters with close to equal skill, cardio and other factors but 1 guy is considerably bigger and stronger than the other, well that tips things in his favor.

We know it'll never happen but how awesome would a PPV card of UFC Champs vs Bellator Champs be? I remember when a lot of people thought that if the WEC guys came up to the UFC that their champs and top contenders would be lucky to break into the UFC top 10. I think the UFC champs would be favorites, but some of their guys would be great additions to the UFC. I'd love to see Brooks, Chandler, Lima and McGeary just to name a few in the UFC.

I agree with Mighty Mouse vs. Galvao and Jones vs. Minakov but I disagree on the rest.

Will Brooks and McGeary are really legit fighters. Both extremely stick. Although Rockhold is a beast so I'd probably put him up against anyone and he'd compare favourably.

Strauss is a workhorse who is huge for his weight class. He's great in the clinch and he'd just hold onto Cruz all night. He legitimately walks around like 30 pounds heavier than Cruz.

I think last night showed up how Koreshkov can handle people who are smaller than him.

I don't know much about the HW champ Rafeal Carvalho but he beat some tough competition in Hallsey and Schilling. Is that on the same level as Lawler? No, but Lawler also did not fare as well at MW as he is at WW right now so I don't know.

for quite a while robbie was ranked in the top 5 while outside of the UFC at MW, he did have some worse luck towards the end at the weight. but keep in mind that this is when people like nate marquardt were top 10 at MW

All of them except Connor, Brooks is a WW fighting at LW, and is solid In all the aspectos of the game
