I had brain stroke before one and half year, and in February 2011 open heart surgery because of that brain stroke, hole in my heart was reason. Before that happend i used NO reactors such as Jack3D / Horse Power...etc. I would like to try 1mr (one more round) but seller didnt recommend me because of my health. to make things clear i feel really great, training like crazy 2 months for now after surgery and getting back in shape. What u would say for this? Is that risky to take and try? My friend told me he told this summer 1mr and it was crazy xD

Pretty sure, based off what you just wrote, you need to consult a medical professional.

Asking doctor about it would cost me alot, because in my country if u just say "Hi" to doctor it may cost u like 20 euros :D

No one here is giving someone advice that had a stroke and open heart surgery when it comes to taking DMAA, which raises both systolic and diastolic BP, combined with caffeine. Talk to a doctor.

Why nobody would give advice ? If i had brain stroke this doesnt mean i died or im paralized. My left side of body was for few hours but thank God now everything is ok like nothing happend back then. About Heart, its only ASD my heart is okay from that side. SO i was just wondering if im not able to use those supplements why is that ?

Because you've had poor heart health and complications stemming from that, and there's been some evidence of DMAA (1-3dimethylamylamine - the main ingredient in those pre-workout powders, that actually does something) not being great on the heart, due to the aforementioned raise in blood pressure.

For the limited benefit they provide it's not worth the risk to your health.

I'll give advice:

If you've had a stroke and open heart surgery, you shouldn't take any "preworkout supplement," particularly one with 300mg of caffeine and some undisclosed amount of DMAA.

I'm pretty confident that any doctor who wants to keep their medical license would give more or less the same answer.

Seems like im pretty fucked with pre workout supplements ;/

Nah man. Just because you can't (or shouldn't. I'm not a doctor so I cannot know what you can or cannot take) take stimulants doesn't mean you can't have a preworkout "stack." I would recommend taking vitamin b12 and eating a big meal before lifting, preferably with lots of carbs and protein.

what about something like ON's amino energy? Pretty mild preworkout + bcaa's...

Pretty sure i'll get BCAA but i want to duo it something before hard training. So i came here to ask what most of u think for my case.

rekyts could u link me that ?

I should note that I was saying not to take any "preworkout supplement" because they're generally stimulants with a few other things thrown in. Things like B vitamins, BCAA, etc. are all just fine (we can save the debate on whether they are effective or not for other threads), you should just be very clear on what's in it before you take it, given your medical history.

Its called Amino Energy made by Optimum Nutrition (ON) - I have very little experience with pre workout stuff (Ive tried 1MR and hated how jittery I got) but I recently tried amino energy and found it to be the perfect little boost I needed with no weird side affects, its very mild - anyone else use/try this? The grape is so tasty also!

I have used it in the past, and liked it. But it does have caffeine sourced from green tea extract.

The "energy blend" component of that product is Caffeine, Green Tea Extract, and Coffee extract, with it all amounting to 160 mg, so I would guess about 150 mg of caffeine per serving.

I know this is exactly what you're trying to avoid doing, TS, but you should probably consult with a doctor about what an acceptable intake of caffeine (or other stimulants) would be, along with the potential added risk of using them before exercise. It's fairly clear that you're more or less hell-bent on finding something to give you a "boost" preworkout, so in the interest of remaining alive, you may want to bite the bullet and pay to talk to a doctor who can review your medical history, assess your current condition, and give you a qualified opinion as to what will or will not be safe.

Why are you so concerned about this pre workout garbage. You don't need it.
