Salmon is almost always good.
Walleye, crappie, perch, bluegill are all great eating. Beats the shit outta super popular fish like Talapia and even salmon.
My goal this winter is to catch a "Freshwater Lobster". I've never had one.
Anyone know what kind of fish I'm talking about?
I eat a lot of salmon and swordfish too, seared tuna steaks in the summer, and I really like Chilean sea bass but it’s expensive and my market only has it a couple months out of the year. I like most whitefish for frying, but that makes a mess so I don’t do it often.
I wouldn’t eat bluefish plain, but smoked bluefish pâté is pretty good.
Not getting much love in this thread, but I agree. Cajun blackened catfish - get that cast iron pan going - is fantastic.
almost any that are typically served in America
favorites are salmon and cod
alaskan pollock I used to like tilapia but I found it how toxic and carcinogenic it is.
Snapper. And not the one from the ocean. NahwhatImean?
Boneless skinless fish
Hamachi....and myself of course
Grilled bottle nose dolphin
I like lots of kinds of fish but fried cod cheeks are my favorite. They're usually a special, most places don't have them all the time
Nope. Had them before. I'd like to catch a Burbot this winter. They are also called ling cod.
I dont like fish. Fish yucky and disgusting!
It's not fish, it's red meat. For real I (accidentally) tasted whale, and it's like eating seaweed seasoned rosbeef.
Pompano is probably my favorite.
