I thought that Central time was 1 hour behind Eastern Time Zone. So if a fight was 10pm Eastern Time Zone it would be 11pm Central Time Zone.

The UFC webpage for tonight's UFC Fight Night shows "10PM/7PM ETPT".

What the hell? Is that 10pm Pacific/7pm Eastern?

As I'm reading this, if you subtract the 2 hours from the Pacific time of 10pm it is 8pm Central and if you go off of the 7pm EPTP time which is Eastern I believe and add 1 hour for Central the fight is at 8pm Central.

So, the main event fights start at 8pm Central tonight? Am I correct?

You are overthinking this. We are one hour behind eastern time. It starts at 9 pm central. 10/7 ETPT means 10 eastern 7 Pacific.

We are 2 hours behind Pacific. Eastern Is 3.

Make sure to add a half hour you are halfway between the time zones

TS, you've got it exactly backwards.

Prelims @ 6pm Central.

The time is opposite the path of the sun btw---makes sense right, since it stays light longer as you travel west.

So, 11pm EST=10pm Central=9pm Mountain=8pm Pacific. Of course, if you live in Arizona your mileage will vary, since you don't do that magical time shifting thing the rest of the country does.

If you are one hour behind Eastern the fight would start earlier in the evening for you. So if you are one hour behind eastern and it starts 10pm for them it means it starts 9pm for you.

I have no idea if central is only one hour behind eastern since I don't live in the U.S.

How complicated can this possibly be, even as a brit, living in britain i can work out what 10pm/7pm Et/Pt means....

10pm eastern
9pm central
8pm mountain
7pm pacific

Prelims
8pm eastern
7pm central
6pm mountain
5pm pacific

You Muricans not even understand your own time zones?

Fuck you guys, TS is no timezone expert.

Not quite as catchy as "The Time Is Now"

And yeah, Central time is one hour before Eastern time. So if something comes on at 7 Eastern it will come on at 6 Central.

Ts must be a product of common core math:icon_lol:

Seriously though ts you're over thinking it.

10PM/7PM ETPT=
.........v..........v...................
......ET.....CT....................

Living in a central timezone you should know that Central time is always an hour behind eastern time.

It's okay though we all have brain farts sometimes

Why doesnt UFC just stop all the confusion and simply use Zulu time? Then TS will always be on time, everytime, showtime, prime time, Miller time and my time.
