I saw a promotion on tv that said, "Pre-fight talk at 6pm, Preliminary Fights at 7pm, and Post-Fight wrap up talk at 12pm. I was like.....what time is the actual fight going to be roughly? I know that they can't predict how long the other fights will go, and I've never watched boxing before, so, does anyone have any idea when the actual main event, McGregor vs. Mayweather will be, Central time?

They will start walking to the ring just after 11:00pm Central time. By the time they walk the aisle, do anthems, get everyone out of the ring, I'd be surprised if a punch is thrown before 11:30pm.

Main card starts at 9pm Eastern = 8pm Central, 3 fights prior to the main event, factor in the commercial breaks and other bullshiet, you're looking at 11pm at the earliest.

Wow. Late. Thanks. Is this normal? I heard they were starting later so that people in Ireland could watch it, is that true?
