He seemed excited for the Colby fight, which got me excited. I thought this would be the easiest fight to book. But if negotiations were going well, I'm pretty sure T Wood and Colby would be coaches for the next TUF season. There's no doubt that Dana offered it to them. We have to assume that T Wood is holding out again. If there's no agreement to fight by November, he needs to be stripped.

Yeah I expected this to be announced over the Fight Week. Surely the only hold-up would be if GSP or Conor were interested in fighting Woodley?
 
negotiation? This isnt' boxing, if you willingly turn down a mandetory/unification you should be stripped on the spot...
 
TS is right tho, there is no way they didn't offer the show to Colby and Twood, they don't even have a date for the Whitaker / Gast fight, Whitaker's hand is still fucked.

This might be the dumbest thread today.

(1) Oh well that's nice that you would be "pretty sure T Wood and Colby would be coaches for the next TUF season." Your opinion counts.
(2) "There's no doubt that Dana offered it them." No doubt at all. What with all the evidence and confirmation from Woodly, Colby and Dana that this happened.
(3) "We have to assume that T Wood is holding out again." Yes, we are required to assume that since we haven't heard anything yet and Tyron is recovering from surgery and Colby just won the interim a month ago that Tyron is holding out. Totally.

well ufc 228 doesn't have a main event so there you do.

you do get timing plays a huge part on when champs face fight.

when Woodley said he was cleared ufc 224, 225 226 and 227 had it title fights on it already. so Woodley had to wait for ufc 225 to see who he fight next.

ufc has Robert on tuf cause it lets his broken hand heel and the time frame would allow Robert to fight.

so here it does ufc 228 be Woodley vs Colby, ufc 229 khabib vs eddie.dustin winner, ufc 230 will be who ever fight nuens, ufc 231 have Robert vs kelvin. so there you do

after ufc 227 there can be a new fight made for fw and bw belt, im sure a fw interm belt will need to be made as well.
 
Can we please not have championship title fighters coaching TUF every fucking time. Kills their stock and is boring AF.

Also, 'water poisoning' ...LOOOL. UFC writers have stooped to new low with this one.
