A. He accepted the fight with Lesnar full well knowing the situation.
B. Apparently the so called exception doesnt exempt him from testing from now and going forward it only excempts him for allowing him to fight on short notice.
The exemption is in relation to the fact that fighters who are coming out of retirement must provide 4 month written notice before a fight and be qualified for testing immediately at that point.
Brock Lesnar and the UFC are all coming to terms very late in the process (1 month before the fight) meaning that Brock would need to get an exemption because he did not notify them 4 months earlier in writing he was coming out of retirement (which he wasnt coming out of retirement 4 months ago.. until recently the UFC was still negotiating with Brock and the deal was struck shortly before UFC 199).
I dont understand what Mark Hunt is bitching and moaning about. #1 if you dont like it dont agree to fight him. #2 If he didnt get that exemption he wouldnt be allowed to fight and you wouldnt be in the comainevent at UFC200.
I dont understand this guy I really dont get it. Maybe he is trying to build his excuse incase he loses to Lesnar but I cant believe this guy is complaining about steroid use and the fact they granted him a excemption. There would be no fight without one!
Back out of the fight then Mark! Please. Dont accept a fight then complain about the fight you accepted. Please back out. It just feels so incredibly disingenuous and fake I cant stand it and I always used to be a big Hunt fan.
